With just over 52,000 residents, Calumet County boasts a 6.8% rate of growth from 2010 to 2017. Located along the beautiful eastern shore of Lake Winnebago, Calumet County derived its name from a Menominee Indian Village meaning peace. Calumet County’s mix of rural and urban areas allow for the opportunity to experience both beautiful vistas, farm fields, and over 70 miles of hiking trails, 131 miles of snowmobile trails, and four boat harbors. This is in addition to the bustling, urban pace in the county’s urban northwest corner bordering the northeast shores of Lake Winnebago.
