Land and Water Conservation
Land and Water Conservation  is responsible for the administration of the conservation programs, which includes land use management and the enforcement of its associated ordinances.

The conservation portion of the department is responsible for the Working Lands Initiativenutrient managementgroundwater and surface water educationstormwater educationstormwater and erosion control, well abandonment, and manure storage and runoff management,  as well as various resource management ordinances.

Groundwater Talk Rescheduled for February 13, 2019

The postponed talk “An Introduction to Groundwater, Private Wells, and Calumet County Well Data” has been rescheduled for February 13th, at 7:00pm in the Engler Center.
