The new millennium has finally seen the implementation of a Water(Boat) Patrol program in Calumet County.  Calumet County rests on the eastern shore of Lake Winnebago, which is one of the largest inland fresh water lakes in the country.

The purchase of equipment for this water patrol program was funded exclusively with donations from the private sector.  Persons who felt that this was an important program were able to contribute the necessary funds to allow us to acquire the needed boat and equipment to properly serve boaters on the Eastern half of the lake.

The boat patrol provides a Law Enforcement presence on the eastern half of the lake.  We patrol looking for boaters in distress, looking for safety and law violations.  We also do boating inspections and watercraft operators safety courses.
