The Calumet County Zoning Program administers and enforces the county's land use codes. Assistance is provided for zoning, building and land use permits, lot creation, sanitation, floodplain regulations, well abandonment, mining reclamation, wind energy, as well as erosion and storm water control.

To view the applicable regulations click on "Code of Ordinances", and scroll to find the desired code.  For your convenience, the Zoning Code can be accessed on the zoning page.

For zoning information in the Town of Harrison, outside fo the shoreland areas, contact Mark Mommaerts, Town Planner.

Zoning Code of 2009

On November 2, 2009 the County Board adopted a comprehensive revision to the zoning codes of 1976 and 1985. The ordinance, known as Chapter 82 of the Calumet County Code of Ordinances, immediatelly became effective in the shoreland areas of the Towns of Brothertown, Chilton and Stockbridge. The old codes, which are not in electronic format, are still in effect in the remaining six towns. The ordinance establishes the land use regulations for the areas under county zoning jurisdiction (the shorelands of all unincorporated areas, and, any town that adopts county zoning). Current zoning district boundaries are shown on the On-line Mapping Site.  The PDF's of the 2009 zoning district boundaries are listed to the left.
