Our County has a population of over 45,000 residents and has 19 different local governments including; 9 towns, 4 villages and 6 cities. The annual budget for Calumet County is over $40 million, supporting 25 major departments. We provide a wide range of services for our citizens including services to our elderly, children, persons with disabilities, public health, human services, veterans, law enforcement, highways, zoning, land and water, UW extension, parks and emergency management. Calumet County works cooperatively with federal, state and local agencies and organizations to provide programs and services for County residents.
